  1. Hi Bryan,
Some questions you could look into. (the trick is to find a relevant question you want to research):

  2. Are there any controversies related to the history of computers? What helped or hindered the development of this technology and how can knowing about this aid in how computers are developed now?

  3. Many people have trouble understanding when the first computer was actually created, many different dates surround this topic. But in 1951 the first computer was bought by a major company which marked the age for computer development. The development of this technology lay on many different discoveries, like silicone, electric current, circuit boards to name a few. I believe that knowing how things work help you to navigate it better. Knowing how the computer was created and how it came to be what it is today is something that could help people work with it, and help them to understand what there working with.

  4. Interesting, Bryan! What does the history of computers suggest about how computers will develop in the future?

  5. There are many concepts basing from how fast the computer has developed through such a short period of time. With some of the feasible technology at hand people has inquired that the evolution of computers could head in to holographic's. With light projected interfaces eliminating the hard copy of the computer. Using the technology of the original screen and projecting it on to any interface. Knowing that one computer filled a room in 1946 going to a small laptop in 1981 suggests that the computer will continue to get smaller in hardware but continue to offer more and more through out the years.

  6. Wow- that makes sense- I just saw the movie, "Her," in which a man falls in love with his operating system - it was so fascinating. In the movie, the main character also spends time playing a video game that is a holograph- he doesn't even use a joystick or controller, just his hands- it's wild, but made me think of what you alluded to above. So, how might you integrate this into your essay? how might this help you develop your thesis?

  7. It might give me good points to hit in my essay how the development of the computer can be a sight almost in to what the computer could be capable of in a number of years and what it will be able to accomplish. Changing everything. Also maybe focusing on the 5 components of the computer that are required and will always be required in future systems like necessities so maybe not focusing so much on the most important parts today but what will be important in the future. And how they can be manipulated to form a different better fast computer in the near future.

  8. You know a lot about what you are studying and seem to be into what you are studying. I think that how much people use computers makes it a really good thing to look at. Maybe use pictures?

  9. Thank you Haven, I agree that pictures would help visualize what I mean, and maybe bring that concept to why it's so important to know and how you can benefit.
